Nine pegs are used to construct the pyramid pattern that is laid out. It represents one of the lesser Egyptian pyramids, burial place of the paharaoh Chefren. You are challenged to reduce this pattern to a peg in the vertical hatched cell. Eight jumps are needed to remove eight pegs, but the first two are accomplished with the same peg and thus combine into a single move.
